This weeks Saturday Night Stay in Movie is a family movie. It is Bedknobs and Broomsticks. This musical was first released back in 1971 by Walt Disney. It stared Angela Lansbury David Tomlinson and Roddy McDowall to say but a few. The film is set during the Battle of Britain, and Mis Eglantine Price (Lansbury), a witch in training, decides to use her supernatural powers to defeat the Nazi menace. She sets out to accomplish this task with the aid of three inventive children who have bee evacuated from the London Blitz. This is a classic Disney film with some good songs and good comedy for the whole family to enjoy. Bedknobs and Broomsticks also had a lot of animation in mixed with the live action which made it fun for the kids because you were watching a cartoon with really people in it.

My favourite part of the movie is the end sequence but i will not tell you about it as not to give anything away. This was one of my favourite Disney films when I was growing up. I think that it has stand the test of time and the kids to day will really enjoy it as well as the parents.
