Released before this week, Screen Junkies’ Honest Previews for the Minions has already gone viral, filing more than 1.7 million views in less than three days. Cut loose in the family-values slushiness of their parent franchise, the Minions are free to indulge their basest, weirdest, most at random hilarious instincts. This picture has a few highlights yes, a few chuckle moments yes, but overall its a complete wreck with nothing making any distant sense, even for an animated fantasy world (children will now presume India sits right next door to Australia…connected by a rope bridge). The minions were not worse in that function: idiotic foils for Despicable Me’s brooding, tormented Gru. As a world blissfully unfamiliar with the Minions is turned upside down by their tumultuous presence (one fires a rocket launcher at a police cruiser, another topples Queen Elizabeth II from the British throne), observers are encouraged to look back wistfully on a period before our own civilisation was eternally changed by the arrival of the pill-formed twits. Turns out the Minions are always looking to update, so upon arrival, they go searching for the worst meanie Scarlet Overkill can be found: by them and immediately ditch the Nelsons. So I ‘d urge one to leave the serious part of your brain at your house and watch this hilarious and light hearted picture of the minions that are adorable. Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob embark upon a thrilling journey that finally leads them to their next prospective master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® victor Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super villain. Largely it is shrill, although with its episodic stream of slapstick gags, Minions has second of piquant absurdity -but-cutesy anarchy works as a visual sugar rush for the preschool set. Probably not, because everyone loves Minions but it could have already been much better.

Despicable although good Me Good film that is better, but it’s true, the Minions are much more funny as supporting characters and work. This film is a miss for us and is not going to be part of our picture line up to bring home. The one voice that never fails is Jennifer Saunders and Minions was no exception. The Universal Studios clip begins but rather than hearing the normal orchestra playing the music, it is sung by the minions all through. I spent most the film desiring to leave and then learn that my husband felt exactly the same and my children said THEY would have left at the same time! Kevin reappears, having returned to his normal size, after the Minions mourn him.
