Gilmore Girls fans received so good news a Netflix is bring backThe Gilmore Girls for a limited series.

The Gilmore Girls first aired in 2000 and ran for 7 years ending in 2007 spanning 7 seasons and over 150 episodes, it gained a huge following which stood by it even when it was off the air. There was a rumors a few months ago about a revival but but it was not confirmed  till now, check out the article here.

This is not the first show that Netflix has brought back to life like Longmire, The Killing, and Arrested Development which seem to be doing well for Netflix (but they never release viewing numbers So we don’t know). This will give fans hope for other cancelled shows like Firefly and the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Both which gained a big loyal fan base but were never given a chance to find there feet.

Hi Viewers and welcome to an other week of New Releases USA. There are 9 new movers out this week and as usual we will take a look at what I think will be the top 3, so lets get started. Up first is Goosebumps out in time for Halloween. This one is amides the kids and their parents who would of watched the TV series when they were younger and also read the books also, (yes I fall into that category). Goosebumps started off as a book series of hoary story amide at kids and as I said those stores got turned into a TV show (check out the TV Rewind of Goosebumps here). Well they have turned it into a movie staring Jack Black as the writer R.L.Stine, he has all his book looked up in his house but his daughters friend opens one of the books and the monsters start coming out of them and then its a fight to get them back into the books ( Reminds me of Jumanji with Robin Williams). With a looking likely I think that Goosebumps will do well at the box office even given The Martin a run for the top spot.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 23.04.03

Next up is Bridge of Spies. This movie is about an American Lawyer who is recruited by the CIA during the Cold War to help rescue a pilot detained in the Soviet Union. it is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Tom Hanks. This is not the first time the 2 have worked together, they did huge movies like Catch Me If You Can and Saving Private Ryan, so thing are looking good for Bridge of Spies. I think it will open in the top 3.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 23.02.46

Last film we are looking at this week is Guillermo Del Toro’s Crimson Peak. Other movies Guillermo has done is Pan’s Labyrinth and the Devil’s Backbone which will give you a insight to what Crimson Peak will be like. Staring Mia Wasikowska, Jassica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam I think it will be a good movie. I think it would open mid table.

Other movies out this week include Truth, Room, All Things Must Pass, This Changes Everything, Woodlawn, and Momentum. If you go and see any of these movies let me know what you taught of them by leaving a comment below. Until next week Viewres Keep on Viewing.

Hi Viewers and well come to an other Weekend Box Office Results USA. The new releases had a tuff week in the top 10 with only one making it ingot the top 10. ( Take a look at last weeks New Releases here). Lets rake a look at how the top ten shapes up this week.

  1. The Martian $37 M
  2. Hotel Transylvania 2 $20.4 M
  3. Pan $15.1 M New
  4. The Intern $8.6 M
  5. Sicario $7.5 M
  6. Maze Runner $5.3 M
  7. The Walk $3.7 M
  8. Black Mass $3.1 M
  9. Everest $3 M
  10. The Visit $2.5 M

There you have it for an other week The Martian keeps the top spot by a big margin again this week and Hotel Transylvania 2 stay at 2. New Releases Pan opened in 3rd place which has to be disappointing for them as there was high expectations for that movie. The Intern is a non mover at 4 with Sicario sleeping 2 places 5th. After dropping out of the top 10 last week The Walk makes a come back to take 7th place this week but still no where near bearing even. The Visit has dropped 2 places to 10th. After a successful 6 week run War Room finally falls out of the top 10.

The Martian will have a tuff fight on its hand to keep the huber 1 spot next week as Steven Spielberg have got together again for spy drama Bridge of Spies. Also Goosebumps staring Jack Black is opening this weekend this will bring back a lot of nostalgia for the older viewers as well as being the right type of scary for the kids.

I do have to mention this week the Steve Jobs Movie opened on 4 screens in New York and LA and made over half a million dollars, this movie will be released in 2 weeks time nation wide and I expect it to be a monster hit so keep an eye out for it. Well thats it for this week Viewers if you have seen any of the movies in the top 10 this week let me know what you taught of them by leaving a comment below. Until next week Keep on Viewing.

Hi Viewers and welcome to this weeks New Releases USA there is only 5 New Releases this week and one Nationwide Expansion. As usual I will take a look at what I think the Top 3 movies will be this week. So lets get started. First up is a movie that was actually released last week in a select number of theatres and didn’t make the top ten last week, but it has got a nationwide expansion this week which will defiantly help it in the box office. The Walk is based the true story about Philippe Petit who in 1974 attempted to walk a tight rope between the world trade centres in New York. The story is bout him building a team and a plan to make this happen. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charlotte Le Bon, Ben Kingsley, and James Badge Dale. I think that with the nationwide releases it will move The Walk into the top 10 and finish mid table.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 20.15.08

Next up is the latest retailing J. M. Barrie’s classic tail Peter Pan the story about a boy who never grow up and fights pirates. There has been many of retailing of this story over the years, this time Joe Wright is going to take a crack at it and has a pretty impressive cast to do it with, Levi Miller, Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara. This film is told as an origin story and in a lot of peoples minds it tells the srtroy that everyone already knows. That is where the star power of Jackman comes it he should be a big draw to the movie and reviews report that he dose not disappoint giving a great performance. I think this will open 3rd or 4th but not putting much pressure on The Martain

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 20.30.11

Last up is Big Stone Gap. This is a romance/comedy set in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. A self proclaimed spinster Ave Maria Mulligan finds her life shaken up and forever changed after learning a long buried family secret. There is a good cast put together for this movie Ashley Judd, Patrick Wilson, Whoopi  Goldberg, John Benjamin Hickey. There hasn’t been a lot of movies lilt this realised lately even though there is an audience for it. I think that it will do quite well in the top ten but not breaking the top half of the table.

Hi Viewers and welcome to this weeks Weekend Box Office Results USA. There is only one new entry in the top ten this week and that is The Martian, But will it be able to last week number one of the top spot or will Hotel Transylvania 2 keep it for a second week in a row lets find out. Check out last weeks Top Ten Here

  1. The Martian $54.3 M New
  2. Hotel Transylvania 2 $33.2 M
  3. Sicario $12.1 M
  4. The Intern $11.6 M
  5. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials $7.8 M
  6. Black Mass $5.8 M
  7. Everest $5.6 M
  8. The Visit $3.9 M
  9. War Room $2.8 M
  10. The Perfect Guy $2.4 M

There you have it we have a new number one Ridley Scoot and Matt Damon open very well knocking last weeks number one off the top spot and by a big margin as well. Sicario  which was last weeks number 10 jumps 7 places to number 3 this week due to the nationwide releases and it preformed strong. Last weeks second place, The Intern, falls 2 places to 4th. Robert De Niro works well with Anne Hathaway. Johnny Depp’s come back has not gone exactly to plan with Black mass peeking at number 2, but there is still talk of it dining well at the Oscars so we will have to wait and see. War Room is spending its 6th week in the top ten slipping one place to 9th. War Room is one of the most successful non Hollywood movies of the year earning over $60 million agents a budget of just 3 million. There you have it for an other week let me know if you have seen any of the top 10  this week by leaving comment bellow. Until next week keep on Viewing.

Hi everyone and welcome to this weeks New Releases USA this is where we take a look at the new movies that are coming out this week. So lets get started first up is the Ridley Scoot movie, The Martian. Staring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wigg, and Kate Mara, this movie was giving a boots early this week by NASA reporting that they have found following water on Mars, which has put the red planet back in everyone mind. The Martian is about A manned mission to Mars that goes wrong after a storm on the red planet and one of the Astronauts (Matt Damon’s Charter) gets left behind and he must survive until he can be saved which might take years. I think this is going to open straight at number one.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 20.14.39

Next movie up is The Walk, based on a true story about Philippe Petit who in 1974 attempted to walk a tight rope between the world trade centres in New York. The story is bout him building a team and a plan to make this happen. the film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charlotte Le Bon, Ben Kingsley, and James Badge Dale. The Walk has lot to contend with one of which is opening so close to the releases of Everest and also opening the same week asThe Martian I think that this movie will open mid table.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 20.15.08

The last movie we are taken a look at this week, Sicario, was acutely released last week but it done so well with a limited release that is has be giving a Nationwide Expansion. This Action/Crime/Thriller. Directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Emily Blunt as an FBI agent sent to Mexico to help in the War on Drugs gets tangled up in a dangerous conspiracy.  This movie has a god stoy line a great cast and I think will movie up the table very fast this week withe the Nationwide role out.

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 20.15.45

Also out this week is Freeheld, He Named Me Malala, Shanghai, Partisan, Addicted to Fresno. Check out this weeks top ten movies here. If you go and see any of these movies let me know what you taught of them by leaving a comment below. Until next week Viewers Keep on Viewing.

Hi Viewers. We are back after a short brake we took to shoot our short movie, so it is time to get back to business.  Last week Maze Runner: The Scorch took the top spot in its opening weekend with Black Mass coming in second place (check out last weeks Top Ten here) and with 11 new movies out this week Maze Runner had a fight on its hands to keep the number 1 spot. Well lets take a look and see how it did.

  1. Hotel Transylvania 2 $48.4 M New
  2. The Intern $17.7 m New
  3. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials $14.2 M
  4. Everest $13.2 M
  5. Black Mass $11 M
  6. The Visit $6.6 M
  7. The perfect Guy $4.7 M
  8. War Room $4.2 M
  9. The Green Inferno £3.5 M New
  10. Sicario $1.7 M

There you have it Hotel Transylvania 2 takes the biggest bit of the takings this week and takes the top spot by a long way while The Intern opens in 2nd place but never looking like it would take number 1. Fox will be disappointed that Maze Runner didn’t put up a better fight. Even though it could be doing better in the States Maze Runner has grossed over $122 million at the foreign box office giving it a world wide taking of $174 more then dubbing the $61 million budget. Everest had a good week this week moving up one place to 4 and nearly dubbing the takings from last week while Black Mass drops 3 places to 5th. War Room is still in the top ten for the 5th week in a row but slipping 2 places to 8th. To date War Room has earned over $55 million agents a budget of only $3 million. An other newcomer to the top ten opens in 9th place The Green Inferno  while Sicario brakes into the top 10 at number 10 there was high hopes for this thriller staring Emily Blunt but so fare it has failed to deliver but in some good news it has got a nationwide expansion which should help it at the box office. Next week will be a good battle at for the top spot with the releases of Ridley Scott’s film staring Mat Damon The Martian and with the recent discovery of flowing water on Mars by NASA Mars will be on everyones minds for the next while. We will have to wait and see. Until next week Viewers Keep On Viewing.
