Hi everybody how are you all keeping. It has being a while since I have done one of these but there has been so many people asking for me to bring it back I couldn’t ignore any more, so here it is the second season of Saturday Night Stay In Movie, I hope you enjoy. So the first movie that I am going to recommend for the Saturday Night Stay In Movie is the 2011 Real Steel, staring Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo and Evangeline Lilly.

Not a lot of people seem to know about Real Steel, to tell you the truth I’m not surprised because it is a filling about faint radio controlled robots in a boxing ring. Tell you the truth I didn’t want to watch it either. In the end i was talked into watching it and I tell you this I am glad they did talk me into watching this movie because it was really good.

Hugh Jackman plays a retired prizefighter (retired because boxing was band). Instead of humans fighting giant robots get in the ring to duke it out and they are controlled by remote control. It is big money which takes Jackman all around the country. There is a spanner throwing in the works when Jackmans son comes to visit and ends up being brought to these fights as well.

Ok so I have talked al lot about  the fighting robots, (but that is because its is cool) but this is not the main part of the story. The robots are just the back drop to the main story of a man trying to find common ground with his sun and survive in a world that he is not quite sure he wants to be in.

As always Jackman is outstanding in this movie and you cant help but like his character even though he is clearly flawed. Goyo also puts in a good performance as the son who brings his father kicking and screaming into the new world. Over all this a good movie that if you have not seen yet you should defiantly watch. You can even show it to the kids they will really like the robots. I give this movie 4 out 5.

Hi Viewers its time for this weeks Saturday Night Stay In Movie. This week we have gone with Rush staring Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Bruhl and Olivia Wilde, and directed by Ron Howard. Rush is  set in the mid 70’s and charismatic English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth) and Austrian perfectionist Niki Landa (Bruhl) share an intense rivalry in Formula 1 racing. Driving vehicles that are little more than gas-filled, rolling bombs, Hunt and Lauda burn up the track, all while pushing themselves to the breaking point of physical and mental endurance. Meanwhile the women (Olivia Wilde, Alexandra Maria Lara) in their lives can only watch as both drivers risk death with every lap.

Rush was released in the cinemas in 2013 but I only got around to watching it last week. I suppose the reason was because I scene it was about Formula 1 and I wasn’t that interested in seeing it but it was recommend to me by one a Viewer so i gave it a look, and I’m glad I did because I really enjoyed it. you don’t have to be into Formula 1 to enjoy this character driven film. The racing is a back drop it is all about these two men fighting it out to see who the better man is. Now don’t get me wrong there is a lot of racing in this film, which is filmed every well and looks grate but it’s not everything about this film. What it is about is two grate drivers and there will to be the best.

The acting in Rush was very good to my surprise I taught Chris Hemsworth was just the big fella that plays Thor in the Marvels films (which I like to) but he really shows his acting chops in this film. I did not no much about Bruhl but I did know that his acting in this film was grate. I was not the only one to think this either Bruhl won a lot critical acclaim and was nominated for many awards including Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.Over all this is a grate film that I think a lot of people will enjoy Here is the trailer have a look and see what you think.

If you watch this film this weekend let me know what you taught about it by leaving a comment below and if you want to suggest any film on the week you can contact us on Facebook, Twitter, are You can check out last weeks Saturday Night Stay In Movie here. Until next week keep on Viewing.

Hi Viewers Last night I went to see a Ted 2 which I wrote about earlier on (Check it out here)but when the film was finished I seen that Southpaw was just staring so i was like what the hell I have nothing better to be doing so I went into see it. I had not heard a lot about this film before I seen it which I thing was a good thing cause I went in with a open mind and no preconceived ideas about it good are bad.

The story is of a superstar boxer who has everything the house the cars the beautiful wife and grate kid. Then a personal tragedy send him in a tail spin to rock bottom where he has to fight to get his life back on track. The films Star Jake Gyllenhaal gives a grate performance as lead character Billy Hope and take you on a roller-coster ride of emotions  throughout the film. He really through him self into this character and was nearly unrecognisable. There was a grate supporting cast with Rachel McAdams play Billy’s wife Maureen it was clear to see that she was the one to keep Billy grounded and help him make the decisions in his life.

Forest Whitaker played Billy’s mentor. He was grate but I wanted to see his character developed more then it was, Whitaker is such a grate actor it was a shame not to see him go deeper into the character of Tick, maybe we will see it when the directors cut is released. The standout actor in this movie for me was Oona Laurence who played Leila Hope the daughter Gyllenhaal’s character. She was grate in this movie and had some really powerful seems which Jake which made the movie for me.

There was a few let downs for me I taught it would have been a better film if they concentrated more on the characters then the boxing, they defiantly had the actors to do so and if they need to make the film longer to do so I think it would have been worth it. Also there was so iffy acting from 50 Cent who played Jordan Mains Billy Hopes manger but it would be hard for any start up actor to come into a cast like this and not be found out. Over all I love this movie and I give it 4 out of 5. If you have seen it let me know what you taught by leaving a comment below.

This weeks Saturday Night Stay In Movie is Here Comes The Boom, Staring Kevin James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.

download.jpg the Fonz

Yes I said Herny Winkler the Fonz. He give a great performance as the music teacher who’s job is being cut due to a budget short fall at his school. That is where Kevin James character Scot Voss comes in. He sets out trying to raise money to save his friends job. He finds out that you get paid to fight MMA even if you lose so he get in the octagon with very funny results but with help from his friends and coaches he becomes good at it.

This is an uplifting sports comedy of a man that will never give up on his friends. I love this movie. Kevin James is really into MMA and trains in it in his off time so he knew what he was getting himself into. His trainer Nicko, played by Bas Rutten a pro fighter who trained Kevin James for years. This was Rutten’s first time in acting and he showed he is just as good acting as he was fighting. He was able to hold his own agents a comedy heavy weight like James.

An other reason this movie worked so well was because the UFC (the biggest MMA promotion in the world) was involved in the movie with Joe Rogen making a cameo  in it as well as a host of UFC fighters. I really like this movie as it starts off as a funny piss take movie but by the end you are shouting for the underdog teacher.

Over all I give this movie 5 out of 5. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. Also if you would like to recommend Next weeks Saturday Night Stay In Movie let me know. You can check out last weeks Stay in Movie here. See you all next time but in the mean time keep on Viewing.
