This is a classic Disney film with some good songs and good comedy for the whole family to enjoy. Bedknobs and Broomsticks also had a lot of animation in mixed with the live action which made it fun for the kids because you were watching a cartoon with really people in it.

My favourite part of the movie is the end sequence but i will not tell you about it as not to give anything away. This was one of my favourite Disney films when I was growing up. I think that it has stand the test of time and the kids to day will really enjoy it as well as the parents.

So this week I did something that I don’t usually do and i picked a music video as the Video of The Week. The Song is performed by an up and coming Irish band called Hermitage Green, and the song is called Jenny. first of all I love this song but the main reason why I picked it is because of the video. It is a short video that fits a lot into it. It fits in a woman’s life struggle in trying to find her place in the world and be comfortable with who she is and we see her nearly lose that struggle. In the end we see that she ends up happy which is a good message as no matter how hard life gets you will get through it, just keep going and never give up.

This weeks Saturday Night Stay In Movie is Pitch Perfect. Pitch Perfect is an American musical comedy directed by Jason Moore and was originally released back in 2012. The film follows a college woman’s appellate group, The Barden Bellas, as they compete against another appellate group from their college to win National.

The film was released on September 28, 2012, in the States where it was met with mostly positive reviews from critics. It became a sleeper hit and earned over $113 million worldwide, becoming the second highest grossing music comedy film behind School of Rock which grossed $131 million.

The reason I picked this is because when you mix music and comedy you are nearly always onto a winner, except for the Rocker which was only ok. The second reason is that the sequel is benign released this weekend and it would be good to check out the first one but not essential but recommend.

With the huge opening weekend for Disney’ s live action Cinderella last weekend, it docent come as any surprise that Disney has announced the release date for there live action take on Beauty and the Beast which will be March 17, 2017.

Emma Watson is starring as Belle while Dan Stevens is taking up the role of Prince/Beast. Luck Evans will play the Gaston, and Emma Thompson is plain Mrs Poots with Kevin Kline as Belle’s father Maurice. There will be some cgi used in the film, but it will be interesting to see how much as the lack of cgi in Cinderella mad the film fell more real while Maleficent used a lot and was not as well received. The movie will be shoot at Shepperton Studios in London.

Stephen Chbosky wrote the script while Bill Condon is Directing

The oringla animated film was released back in 1991 and was a huge hit for the studio earning 424 million world wide. Disney will be looking to recapture this success in 2017.
